We got a private tour by the owner. I was blown away by the view's and stunning landscape. Fantastic day out meeting Rob outdoor expert. And the restaurant food was delicious. The company I was with has made it a day to remember.
Brilliant. The food was delicious and my coffee - mocha was the best I ever tasted. When I investigated, they explained that they deliberately use chocolate which is high in cocoa but not too sweet. They have open wooden fire which smells pleasant and adds to the atmosphere. You eat in huge tent in a lovely rural area. The staff are friendly and helpful. It was busy during my visit with people queueing outside which confirms what I have written.
Absolutely amazing. From the warm welcome, great service, unbelievable local produce that makes up the interesting and wholesome menu. Love taking our nanny there and very wheelchair friendly. Thank you, you amazing bunch.
Delicious food in a glorious woodland setting. Friendly service and well worth a visit. It’s not cheap, but it is good quality grub
Loved it here, the setting is beautiful, the food is delicious (good vegan/veggie options) and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this restaurant. You can go on trails in the woods and by the lake directly from the restaurant which made the experience even better.
I really enjoyed my food here (hot dog and fries) as well as the beautiful trails. Who knew a hot dog could be so good? I highly recommend and am considering a return visit while I’m in town.
Lovely place for eating out. The trails are not long but enjoyable. Their shop has Lovely products and their meat is out of this world. Go and experience it. Great place for a wedding, or any event
I like this place and would recommend it. A good Dexter burger from meat reared at the premises. During the week service can be a tad slow, if large groups arrive, otherwise it is good. So be patient and understand the situation. Would be nice if they had a drink license because a glass of Maggie's Leap would certainly add to the meal.
